In accordance with the provisions of article
L. 3111-1du code général de la propriété des personnes publiques, properties belonging to the public domain of local authorities, their public establishments and their groupings are inalienable and imprescriptible.
However, properties falling within this domain may be transferred under the conditions set out in article
L. 3112-1of the General Code on the Ownership of Public Property or exchanged under the conditions set out in Articles
L. 3112-2and L.
3112-3of the same code.
