The following articles of the Electoral Code are applicable to preparatory polling operations and the conduct of voting operations:

Article R. 46relating to the notification to the mayor and the presidents of the polling stations of the lists of assessors and substitutes;

Article R. 47relating to the role of delegates of lists of candidates or candidates;

Article R. 48prohibiting discussions and deliberations inside polling stations;

articles R. 49 and R. 50relating to the policing of the polling station;

Article R. 51relating to the replacement of assessors and delegates who have been expelled;

Article R. 52relating to the powers of the bureau to settle difficulties provisionally by reasoned decisions and entries in the minutes;

Article R. 53relating to the use of voting machines in communes where it is authorised;

Article R. 54relating to electoral envelopes;

Article R. 57relating to the public recording of the time at which the poll opens and closes;

For the application of article R. 41 of the electoral code, the representative of the State may postpone the closing time of the poll in one or more communes.
