In the case mentioned in 1° of Article 222-20, the direct allocation is paid in three instalments. <The first payment is made when the grant is awarded. It corresponds to 30% of the amount of the aid, determined on the basis of forecast distribution expenditure. <The second instalment is paid on presentation of the application no later than seven months after the release date of the film in cinemas. This payment corresponds to 42% of the amount of aid, determined with regard to final distribution expenses, after deduction of the amount of the first payment. If the first instalment exceeds 42% of the amount of aid, the distribution company must repay the excess within forty-five days of the request for repayment.
The third instalment is paid before the end of the year following that in which the film is released in cinemas.
Provisional and final distribution expenses are taken into account up to a limit of €122,000.
