Direct allocations are granted to supplement the sums invested by production companies for the production of feature-length cinematographic works when the following conditions are met:
1° The cinematographic works are original French-language works or, if at least two different languages are used, works in which French or a regional language used in France is the most widely used language;
2° The cinematographic works meet the production conditions, in particular artistic and technical conditions, in a minimum proportion which, unless an exemption is granted by the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée after consulting the approval committee, is set at 64 points out of the 100-point scale. A derogation may only be granted if justified by artistic imperatives relating to the screenplay and if the number of points obtained by the cinematographic work is at least equal to 60 points on the 100-point scale.
For the determination of the proportions resulting from 1° and 2°, the points falling under the groups mentioned in I of articles 211-10 and 211-11 shall not be taken into account. <For fictional cinematographic works based on an opera and produced in the language of the libretto, for documentary cinematographic works produced in a language whose use is justified by the subject matter and for animated works, only the condition set out in 2° is required.
